Reg Charie | | Hi all. I have a new graphic filter demo setup on http://fantasticmachines.com/store/index.php?cPath=35
The download is the installer.exe and I would like to know if any of you get an security warning because the file is a .exe
Could you please try the download and let me know if you get an error or warning?
Thanks, Reg

Blake Raab | | No warnings here. Firefox just asked if I'd like to download the file, which it always does.

Hi Reg,
When I clicked the download link I got this dialog box:
However, I think this is normal. I clicked [Save] and the file downloaded without further interuptions.

Pete Hollier | | Hi Reg
Downloaded fine in Firefox which gave only a save option and on install on Vista went through the normal process.
In IE it gave me a run and save option chose run and it downloaded and gave only the usual warning for install
Looks good
Pete

Kurt Schweitzer | | Reg,
I use Firefox 3.0.5. When I clicked on the link it warned me that it was an executable and asked if I wanted to save the file. Answers were Yes and Cancel.
When I clicked Yes it saved the file to my downloads directory and scanned it for viruses.
When I attempted to open the file through the downloader it gave me the following message:
"ImpressionFX_PaintEngine_Demo_installer.exe" is an executable file. Executable files may contain viruses or other malicious code that could harm your computer. Use caution when opening this file. Are you sure you want to launch "ImpressionFX_PaintEngine_Demo_installer.exe"?
This is normal for my environment. (By the way, I clicked Cancel at this point.)
